Firm Profile
For over 15 years, Karen Began has created unique and inviting spaces. She is a southern-California native and a UC Irvine graduate with a bachelor of science degree in Psychology. For many years, her buying position with Nordstrom embellished her with awards for unique items in her departments. You may have caught a glimpse of her work on the hit TV show, HGTV Designer's Challenge where she was asked to design a bedroom. Her donation of time and talents were also engaged in several years with the Design House, a program benefiting the New West Symphony's children's music programs. Currently, she has opened a design boutique where she has found one of a kind, new furniture and antiques. By employing the principles and elements of design, she has refined an old building in Camarillo on "the boulevard" and filled it with everything from a salvaged old building column to clothing and jewelry exclusives from the top manufacturers.
